It’s spring! I think…. At least that’s what the equinox says. And with the advent of the change of seasons a challenge is given to the trees, the flowers, the lawns, the crops: “Wake up! Bloom! Grow! Feed!”
We’re free! I believe…. At least that’s what our faith says. With the coming of Easter we have been set free with a challenge to the young, the old, the in-betweens: “Wake up! Bloom! Grow! Feed!”
We’re in 2008! I know… At least that’s what the calendar says. With the changing of the times we are confronted by many needs: Foreclosures; addictions; family concerns; broken hearts; poverty; health issues; grief; worry.
We can make a difference! I am sure…At least that’s the promise. Share with each other how you plan to make a difference as you confront the needs around you with the promise of Easter.
In One Peace,
Rev. Stan

Lenten Journey
Greetings Friends,
When thinking about the Christian season of Lent, I am often driven to the prospect of what I need to "give up." This year, I am taking a different route: what should I "take on." Perhaps a good place to begin is with Micah: "do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God." I'll periodically let you know of my experiences on the journey.
If you'd like to join me in the same kind of "taking on" write something of your experience and share with all.
Peace on the Journey,
Stan
